Online Media Company Develops Green Initiative
Lafayette, IN (June 6, 2008) - In the true spirit of the kindergartner, Stormfront Productions has begun looking a little more optimistically at the world through a green lens. Stormfront, a full service online media firm and contributing member to the nature conservancy, has started an initiative to plant a tree for every new web hosting client they receive now through July 31.
The company is already mostly paperless but felt the need to lessen their carbon footprints and build a better environment for future generations. “We are an under 30 company in a generation Y world” CEO and founder Rob Theodorow said. “There has been a long debate over whether or not mankind is hurting our environment. Rather than taking a wait-and-see approach, we would prefer to proactively combat any future problems our actions may cause” he concluded.

Plant a Tree with SFP

Each tree planted will be done in the name of the client signing up for service. This approach is designed to get companies involved in a behavior they would not necessarily have thought to try out. Furthermore, Stormfront hopes to help consult interested parties on how to get better involved in the process for themselves.
Stormfront uses a unique approach in their business model. By sending out paperless invoices and proposals, and having a very easy-to-use online payment option, any significant paper usage is virtually eliminated.
